Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Content Creator to produce engaging content that highlights our grocery store’s products, promotions, and brand values. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a range of digital and visual content, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, and graphics, to connect with our audience and drive customer engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, including written posts, images, graphics, and videos, for various digital platforms such as social media, the store’s website, blogs, and email newsletters.
  • Social Media Management: Manage the store’s social media accounts by posting regular content, responding to comments, and engaging with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Photography & Video Production: Capture photos and videos of products, events, and in-store promotions to showcase the store’s offerings and create promotional materials.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling copy for product descriptions, promotional campaigns, and customer-focused content.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends, customer preferences, and industry best practices to produce relevant and innovative content.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement content calendars and strategies that align with business objectives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Brand Voice: Ensure all content reflects the store’s brand voice and values, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track the performance of content using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to maximise audience engagement and sales.
  • SEO Optimisation: Incorporate SEO best practices into written content to increase online visibility and improve search engine rankings.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with online audiences by responding to comments, messages, and reviews, fostering a positive relationship with customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a content creator, social media manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or video editing software.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food, retail, or grocery industry.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing or experience collaborating with influencers.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles.
